I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Indiana University studying the dynamics and development of perception, action, and cognition with Drs. Chen Yu and Linda Smith.
I earned a B.S. (Education), M.S. (Education) and M.S. (Cognitive & Behavioral Sciences and Quantitative Psychology) at Illinois State University. During my graduate career at Illinois State University, I was fortunate to work with Drs. Jeff Wagman, Dawn McBride, Chris Merrill (Education), and Josh Brown (Education). As my main advisor, Dr. Jeff Wagman provided invaluable experiences and informal lessons regarding experimental psychology, ecological psychology, and life in academia, in general. I earned a Ph.D in Cognitive & Information Sciences at the University of California, Merced. I worked primarily with Dr. Chris Kello and the Cognitive Mechanics Lab, but also collaborated with Drs. Ramesh Balasubramaniam, Rick Dale, Teenie Matlock, and Anne Warlaumont on other exciting research.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding my research.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a passion for the outdoors. I enjoy traveling, climbing, hiking, trail running, and cycling.
